Rhynos is a Toronto-based gutterfuzz duo blending raw DIY grunge with immersive audio-visuals. Sebastian on vocals and bass and Jack on backing vocals and drums, the band creates an intense introspection exploring the break from societal conditioning. Their debut 7-song EP, Guillotine!, is currently available exclusively on Bandcamp.

The goal isn't just to make noise; it’s to trigger a moment of total, uninhibited childlike glee. It’s about that raw, messy, and renewed excitement for life that happens when you realize you don’t have to follow the script. Their music lives in the space where you finally stop overthinking and start reacting. It’s a cathartic release from the suffocating weight of corporate greed, the widening wage gap, and the hollow static of social media. But instead of letting that weight crush them, they’re using it as fuel for celebration and chanting “burn it down!”

By pairing gritty, low-end grunge with audio-reactive visuals and [soon to be] theatrical skits, Rhynos creates an environment where the audience can let go of the "adult" world for a while and just feel the electricity of being alive.

Guillotine! was recorded with a minimalist DIY ethos and using only Shure SM57 microphones to capture the grit of the room. Their new EP navigates the turbulent journey of rejecting societal expectations and fighting for true autonomy. From the confrontational call-to-action of "Eat The Rich" to the personal, complicated history of "Yeah, I Know”. Rhynos isn't just making noise, they are crafting a ritualistic emotional journey designed to ignite individuality and push back against a world that wants you quiet.
