TORONTO, ON - March 6, 2026 - Toronto-based "gutterfuzz" outfit Rhynos announces the release of their debut 7-song EP, Guillotine!, now available exclusively on Bandcamp. Recorded with only Shure SM57 microphones to capture drums, bass, and vocals, Guillotine! marks a turning point for the duo. Sebastian (bass/lead vocals) and Jack (drums/vocals) have moved past practice room demos and are leaning into childlike exuberance and reminding people that there is no script to life. "I used to say the title was symbolic, but it’s not," says Sebastian. "My whole life I’ve lived in a society that has the capacity to do more, be better, and treat people with respect. But that doesn’t happen. The wealth gap is immeasurably wide. Billionaire bailouts, offshore hoarding, and systemic greed are just normal things that happen. Corruption continues to pile. The ultra-rich get away with murder, to say the least. So yes, Guillotine! is meant to be literal. It’s about the necessity of burning down broken systems. But also, let’s have fun doing it!" The EP features two standout pillars of the Rhynos sound: "Eat The Rich": A high-energy fist-shaker, with a chorus that’s begging for audience participation and rebellion. "Yeah, I Know": An introspective deep-dive into the complexities of familial protection and the unintended consequences of "good intentions."
